Production of the boards

Natural Ash
– drying
Natural ash-wood is dried for several months. Humidity is decreased to a very low level. The timber comes only from certified forests, conducting reasonable and responsible forest policy.

– thermal modification
Process of wood modification in the temperature of 200°C. Change of the coloration in the whole section. The highest durability class for weather conditions. After the modification process, the boards are remoisturized in the athmosphere of saturated steam and get the moisture appropriate for outdoor applications.
3.
– planning and oiling
Planning and drilling of the holes. The boards receive shape and dimensions of the finished decking board. Final machine oiling by using of the dedicated oils with an addition of UV filters and colour pigments protects the boards against the intensive sun and rapid temperature changes.

Maintenance on balconies or terraces
Natural wood gives a lot of joy during its use. It is warm, esthetic and environmental friendly. Its beauty, however, also needs some special care which will help to keep much longer its fresh look and will slow down natural processes of degradation.
Periodical maintenance can be done without help of any specialist – this is definitely not complicated and laborious process. The decking should be washed and later covered with a new layer of oil by using a brush or roller. After such a refreshment the decking gets back its original colour and is protected for an upcoming season.

Depending on the conditions in which the wood is being used and how large is the exposition for weather factors the periodic refreshments can be done with different frequency shown in the table below:

Periodic maintenance of the decking is very important because it definitely increases the durability of the wood. The oil layer gradually disappears, therefore it should be refreshed as it is the best protection against the humidity and UV rays causing the aging of the wood.
